Out of the box, TG2 has a transaction manager to help with multi-dababase deployments. SQLAlchemy, which is the ORM most often used with Turbogears, provides one of the most robust object relational management systems available in any language and is ideal for complex issues with legacy databases, master-slave replication, and multiple integration databases. Although other ORM's work well for smaller or less complex applications, if your application may grow in terms of size or complexity, then Turbogears and SQLAlchemy is something to be considered. Zojax has considerable expertise with Turbogears and SQLAlchemy. We support the Inboxer Email Archiving Application (http://www.inboxes.com) on a full-time basis.
